CrowdBuilding

CrowdBuilding addresses the housing crisis by building non-extractive infrastructure that empowers citizens to develop their own value-based housing projects. The company operates a digital platform used by over 250 initiatives and provides specialized tools for municipalities to tender collective plots accessibly. By acting as an ecosystem orchestrator connecting citizens, government, and finance, CrowdBuilding aims to realize 100,000 community-led homes by 2035, shifting the housing model from profit-driven extraction to long-term community value.

Systemic Lenses (Impact Approach)

Ecological The platform encourages projects to use bio-based and circular materials, leveraging the tendency of community-led initiatives to make more sustainable choices than speculative developers.

Economic As a steward-owned entity, CrowdBuilding operates on a non-extractive model that reinvests profits into the mission, building financial infrastructure for regenerative housing.

Social The model redistributes power by enabling citizens to shape their own living environments, fostering inclusive communities like those reserving units for vulnerable groups.

Narrative / Belief CrowdBuilding actively reframes housing from a market commodity to a collaborative process rooted in care and community.
