Chapter 2

What we do

Guided Exploration: We guide the members of the Explorers Club in taking steps in building their own systemic portfolios through project studies, reflection, and peer exchange. We also draw on research to explore systems change in depth, combining evidence with lived experience. We explore systemic ideas, projects, and the new that needs to be built.

Collaborative Learning: A do-getters group of no more than 15 members, curated for their curiosity, diversity of thinking—bringing together analytical and creative mindsets. Intimate enough for trust and authentic connection, yet broad enough to learn from how others work, reflect, and ask questions. Beyond networking, this is about understanding each other’s approaches, strengthening processes, and building the foundation for true collaboration. We deep dive together in topics like mental models, structures, bioregions, ownership, orchestration and soon.

Curated Portfolio: Around fifteen highly selected projects, representing diverse systemic innovations spanning multiple forms of capital, addressing key systemic topics such as ecological regeneration, steward-ownership and new economic models, equity and inclusion, and narrative change. Drawn from different geographies and enriched by the group’s diverse perspectives, these projects provide fertile ground for shared learning and pioneering approaches mapped on the Iceberg model.

Beyond Investment and Philanthropy: A place of do-ism, peer-to-peer inspiration, and shared adventure—where we unlearn mindset, test new processes and systemic infrastructure work, and deploy differently. With AI, collective wisdom and sensing.
